Really easy. Simply pull the machine out of the box and open up the cleaning tanks to remove packing material.The shiny luminous green color of the Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine Professional Grade Carpet Cleaner really got us excited to review this product. Firstly, this is a deep cleaner, not a steam cleaner and can only be used to clean carpets and not hard surfaces. The instructions are clear and the machine itself is well designed. It is nice to see that the cleaning solution is supplied .The machine has a nice build. Not too heavy and not too light. One problem we encounter is that is is quite difficult to maneuver as it is quite bulky.

How To Use The Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine

Cleaned vs uncleaned side! And it dried in under 4 hours. We didn't have to even move the carpets to clean them.

Filling the water tanks is a simple procedure, just follow the instructions in the user’s manual. While pressing the trigger, make one slow forward wet pass and another back. Let the formula and DirtLifter PowerBrush do the work for you. Release the trigger and make one slow forward and backward pass over the same area to remove any residual dirty water and aid in drying. Repeat cleaning passes until solution being pulled up appears clean. Continue passes without pressing the trigger until you can’t see any more water being pulled up.

The Cleaning Test

Impressive.This carpet cleaner has everything 3 in 1: deep cleaning, dry vacuuming and wet vacuuming. As for the action of the Bissell carpet cleaning machine, there’s so much water that’s injected into the carpet, with the rapid suction quickly taking out the stains away with ease. We got out more dirt from our carpets than both previous cleanings combined. Extremely old gasoline stains came out and even food stains. The carpets have honestly never looked so good. We also tested it on an old carpet remnant we’ve had sitting out in the garage for more than ten years. It has never been vacuumed nor steam cleaned until today and the Bissell carpet cleaner did an impressive job removing the stains and dirt.

The Drying Test

Drying is remarkably quick, for the carpets and couch we tested were dry within roughly two hours. This compared to 12 hours in the past with commercial cleaners. Clean up took 45 seconds, and we hung up the detachable parts of the cleaner to dry out without much hassle.
